Our Tours

Our tours are family friendly and we encourage and cater for all families, singles, blokes, groups, clubs and honeymooners(!). Our Adventure tours are designed for you to see and do as much possible and to get the most out your the time you have with us. We do not carry fare paying passengers, we prefer to provide first class, professional and friendly Tagalong tours. This allows you to experience everything that 4wdriving in Tasmania has to offer, all in your own pride and joy!

All of our tours are self catering and are vehicle based camping style. In other words, you provide you own food and camping gear (tent, swag etc). This helps to keep costs to a minimum. Extras such as Arthur Pieman Conservation Area Pass and overnight camping fees are included in our prices. Once a trip is booked we will email you all information that you will need.

Tours run from October through to the end of March. Tours are available outside of these times by appointment, but be aware that it rains a lot in Tasmania! Many tracks, particularly on the West Coast are not passable after rain.

Trip Ratings

To keep things simple we rate our trips as Easy, Moderate or Hard or as we like to call them;

'Adventurer', 'Explorer' and 'Wanderer'

Wanderer (Easy) is suitable for a standard 4wd that has low range and drivers with little 4wd experience. Vehicles should have at least a rear recovery point and carry a UHF radio (hand held is fine). Note that even the easy tracks that we drive have over growth and it is possible that your vehicle will get scratched.

Explorer (Moderate) is suitable for a modified 4wd with low range, a suspension lift, good all terrain tyres and a UHF (hand held is fine. Drivers should have some 4wdriving experience.

Adventurer (Hard) is only suitable for well modified 4wd vehicles. As a minimum vehicles should have low range, a 50mm suspension lift, good all terrain tyres, a snorkel and a water blind. Drivers must have some 4wd experience to do these tours!

When booking a trip you will be asked a series of questions so we can access your 4wd's (and your) abilities. Contact us  if you have any queries.
