Our  Mission
Our mission is to ensure your Tasmanian 4wd experience is as packed full of  fun, action and adventure as possible, in a safe environment.

Our Guide
Our guide grew up on the West Coast of Tasmania and has many years experience in camping and 4wdriving. In addition to his sustained passion for these pursuits his qualifications include Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment, Accreditation in 4wd and Recovery Techniques, First Aid and Chainsaw Operations.

Our Tours

Our tours are family friendly and we encourage and cater for all families, singles, blokes, groups, clubs and honeymooners(!). Our Adventure tours are designed for you to see and do as much possible and to get the most out your the time you have with us. We do not carry fare paying passengers, we prefer to provide first class, professional and friendly Tagalong tours. This allows you to experience everything that 4wdriving in Tasmania has to offer, all in your own pride and joy!

All of our tours are self catering and are vehicle based camping style. In other words, you provide you own food and camping gear (tent, swag etc). This helps to keep costs to a minimum. Extras such as Arthur Pieman Conservation Area Pass and overnight camping fees are included in our prices. Once a trip is booked we will email you all information that you will need.

Tours run from October through to the end of March. Tours are available outside of these times by appointment, but be aware that it rains a lot in Tasmania! Many tracks, particularly on the West Coast are not passable after rain.

Our Trip Ratings

To keep things simple we rate our trips as Easy, Moderate or Hard. Regardless of the Trip Rating, all vehicles must have rated recovery points front and rear and at least a snatch strap.

Easy is suitable for a standard 4wd that has low range and drivers with some 4wd experience. Note that even the easy tracks that we drive have over growth and it is likely that your vehicle will get scratched.

Moderate is suitable for a modified 4wd with low range, a 50mm suspension lift is recomended along with at least All Terrain tyres. Drivers should have some 4wdriving experience.

Hard is only suitable for well modified 4wd vehicles. As a minimum vehicles should have low range, a 50mm suspension lift, at least All Terrain tyres, a snorkel and a water blind. Drivers must have some 4wd experience to do these tours!

When booking a trip you will be supplied with a detailed information pack that will out the requirements for yourself and your vehicle. If we don't consider that your experience or your 4wd is up to the task of your chosen tour we will certainly let you know at this time, not once you get here!

Please contact us if you would like to bring your camper trailer along on one of our Adventures

Safety

Our guide will be using GPS satellite navigation and carrying a satellite phone for emergency communication.
